Markit (“we”, “us”) is a product of Mezca. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By joining the waitlist, using the closed beta, or visiting the site, you agree to this policy.

What we collect

• Waitlist info: your email address and any optional fields you submit.
• Account info: if you enter the beta, account credentials and brand data you create inside Markit.
• Usage data: basic logs like IP, browser, pages viewed, and events needed to keep the product working and safe.
• Content you generate: captions, calendars, research notes, and other posts created with Markit.

How we use it

• To run the product and your account.
• To invite you to the closed beta and send product updates tied to the waitlist.
• To improve Markit, debug issues, and protect against abuse.
• To communicate with you about billing, changes to service, or security matters.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not train public AI models on your private content. We do not share your data with advertisers.

AI processing

Markit uses third-party AI providers to generate content on your behalf. Prompts and brand data you submit may be sent to those providers solely to produce the output you requested. We pick vendors that contractually prohibit using that data to train their public models.

Cookies and tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and basic operation. We may add simple analytics to understand how the landing page performs. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Data retention

We keep waitlist emails until you ask us to remove them or until we close the waitlist. Account and content data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion anytime.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it at any time. Email ramezcua12@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable window.

Children

Markit is not intended for users under 16. Do not use Markit or join the waitlist if you are under that age.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will let you know.

Changes

If we change this policy meaningfully, we will update the effective date above and notify waitlist members and account holders by email.
