Terms of Service
Effective April 14, 2026
These terms govern your use of Markit, a product of Mezca. By joining the waitlist, entering the closed beta, or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Markit.
The service
Markit is an AI-powered content marketing tool. It generates social media content based on inputs you provide (brand voice, platforms, prompts). Markit is currently in closed beta and features, pricing, and availability may change without notice.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you are using Markit on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these terms.
Waitlist
Submitting your email to the waitlist does not guarantee access to the beta. We will reach out if and when a spot opens. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or contacting us.
Your content
You own the brand inputs, prompts, and generated content that you produce with Markit, subject to the rights of any third-party AI providers. You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and use of content you publish. You grant us a limited license to process your content only as needed to run the service.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Markit to:
- Generate content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, or fraudulent.
- Impersonate another person, business, or brand without authorization.
- Generate spam, malware, phishing content, or targeted harassment.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or abuse the service in a way that interferes with other users.
- Violate the terms of the social platforms you publish to.
AI output
Generated content is produced by AI and may be inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate. Review everything before publishing. You are solely responsible for what you post.
Fees and billing
Closed beta access may be free, discounted, or paid. If you enter a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on the cadence listed on the pricing page. Plans are month to month unless specified. You can cancel at any time and retain access through the end of the paid period.
Beta disclaimer
Markit is in active development. Features may change, break, or disappear. Availability is not guaranteed. Do not rely on Markit as the sole system of record for your brand content.
Disclaimer of warranties
Markit is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Markit and Mezca will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data, arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us in the prior twelve months or one hundred US dollars.
Termination
You can stop using Markit and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or for legal or operational reasons.
Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are material, we will update the effective date and notify waitlist members and account holders by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mezca operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
